The British indoors held at Lilleshall National Sports Centre had a great attendance again this year. Most of the countries top shooters were there in attendance.
In the qualifying round US guest shooter John Dudley set the pace with a 593. Other top Mathew’s finishers were Chris White (4^th), Chris Bell, Nathan Cutler, Jonny Nott, Chris Parkin, Shaun Mutch, Malcom Lewis and Mathew Rudge.

After accepting the qualification award John elected to leave the eliminations rounds for UK archers only. The 1^st place seeding was then done on the toss of a coin with Adam Shaw getting it from Andy Ward both on 588. Chris White was then seeded 3^rd.

In the Quarter Finals took Chris White tied to head into a 1 arrow shoot off against shooter Simon Froggatt. Chris shot a perfect 10 to a 9 from Froggatt. Then In the Semi Final again White was taken to a 1 arrow (closest to centre) shoot off, this time from Scotland’s- Andy Ward. Chris White shot a perfect dead centre 10 to progress into the Final. In the Final Chris shot an impressive 119 to defeat Adam Shaw’s 115, giving Mathews a clean sweep in the Compound Gents.
